Property management is much more than just a job for Sara Hide, her commitment recognised by the regional awards achieved early in her career.

Sara immediately took to property management after working with her husband in the fast-paced retail industry. She had already developed strong skills in customer service and knew the value of relationship building, her passion for property yet another ingredient in the recipe for success.

Sara loves the diversity of the job, and derives huge satisfaction from satisfying her landlords and tenants. While enjoying the autonomy of the role, she appreciates the team support from a large established company with an excellent reputation. She works closely with her property management colleagues and with Eves salespeople.

Keeping up to speed with Tauranga rental market trends is important to Sara as she handles rental properties all over the city. She continually advances her industry and legislation knowledge, seeing it as a service to her clients that she keeps up with all aspects of property management and tenancy law.
Sara says the keys to her success are patience, communication, willingness to work hard/go the extra mile, thorough attention to detail and embracing the diversity – no day is ever the same.

Describing herself as a “Southern Belle” Sara has moved around New Zealand a lot, first with her parents, then with her husband as their business required it. But she is not planning on moving from Tauranga.

“We have found our “forever home” and my husband, two teenage sons and I absolutely love Tauranga.”
